What if I want the Interactive Guestbook at my event but it isn’t within 30 miles of the areas you service?
We are currently serving the greater Peoria and Indianapolis regions. (30 mile radius of each city).
Unfortunately, we cannot go very far outside our 30 mile radius without charging for mileage but we are flexible so let us know where you want us to go and we'll work with you. We are also moving into surrounding cities very quickly
What is the difference between the Capture Station, the Interactive Guestbook, Event Coordinator and the EventSpace?
The Interactive Guestbook encompasses all of the components that Memwas delivers to you including the Capture Station (on-site), Event Coordinator(on-site), online EventSpace, DVD, iPod/iPhone-ready videos, and Digital Photo Frame.

A super quick summary:
  • Capture Station – the stylish kiosk at your event that records personal messages from your guests
  • Event Coordinator – Courteous Memwas team member that sets up/takes down the kiosk and assists guests as they record messages
  • Digital Photo Frame – with all your videos (and photos from your videographer if you so choose)
  • iPod/iPhone ready videos - all your videos prepared specially for easy viewing on your iphone or ipod
  • The EventSpace - your personal website to share all your videos with
  • Keepsake DVD - All your videos for your living room and archives in DVD format

Can my guests purchase copies of the final DVD?
If the you as the host decides to share the videos with guests, we offer additional DVDs for $30 each which can be easily ordered right off your online EventSpace
Can I get more than one digital photo frame?
Yes, you can have as many as you want. Additional digital photo frames (videos pre-loaded) are $250 each.
What if I want a demo but cannot make it to any of the Memwas offices?
You can send a family member or close friend in the area to attend in your stead or for a limited time we can host a virtual demo. All you need is a webcam and Skype. Schedule a demo!
Can I have more than one kiosk at my event?
For each event we typically serve 180 people with a single kiosk for 4hrs (silver package). If you have more than 200 guests, we strongly recommend a longer reservation (try our gold package). Multiple kiosks are available for very large events. Call us and we can tailor a custom package to match your event.
What if I don’t like some of the videos from my event?
You can hide any video you want on all of the numerous video mediums we deliver except your ultimate keepsake DVD meant for the host's eye's alone (EventSpace, GuestDVD, etc.)
Do you work with photographers or videographers?
Upon special request we can coordinate with your videographer or photogrpaher for a small fee. We also encourage networking with your photographer so you can have a mix of videos and photos on your photoframe.
How long is the Event Coordinator present at my event?
The Event Coordinator is at each event for as long as your capture station is at your event for your guests to record videos. (typically 4hrs - 8hrs)
How much will does this fantastic service cost?

How long does it take for me to see my videos?
After the event, it takes between 20-30 business days for all of your videos to be cataloged and placed onto your EventSpace/DVD/digital frame/iphone ready format.You will typically recieve your online EventSpace first. The other "physical" keepsakes will be delivered via mail or hand delivery.
What if someone has already booked my date?
If someone has already booked your date you can sign up for our Wishlist which puts you next in line for that specific day if the other event decides to cancel. Getting on the wishlist totally free. Contact us for more info.
How many videos will be recorded at my event?
As many as your guests want. Typically and historically, for our 4hr package average number of videos is 40-60, recorded by app. 60-70% of your guests. With our gold package (8hrs), number of videos averages fall betweeen 90 and 160.
How many messages can a single guest record?
As many as his/her heart desires!
Can more than one person leave a message at a time?
Groups, couples, etc. can leave messages together as long as they can speak audibly and can all be captured by the camera.

What does Memwas stand for? How do I pronounce it?
The name Memwas is loosely based off the concept of memoirs; descriptions of personal experiences from an individual/ the account of something noteworthy. We believe that The Interactive Guestbook is similar to memoirs in that it records messages from noteworthy events during the course of 4 hours. It surpasses the idea of memoirs in that it has accounts from other people’s perspectives instead of from a single individual. The pronunciation of Memwas is (mem • wahs)

If you are experiencing browsing issues (missing pictures, links, odd arrangement of content, etc) you should check to see if your internet browser is up to date. Although we've tried very hard to make the Memwas experience on the web great for all, some older browsers such as Internet Explorer 6 and below will not provide an optimal experience. The following browsers are recommended: You should also have flash installed. Flash is a browser "plug-in" that allows you to view the latest rich motion graphics and video.
